This was one of my favorite shooters on the Amiga. To me it was just like an Arcade game. The C64 is also quite impressive for this machine, but it lacks some game elements. The ST version is not too bad. Scrolling is a little jerky and the game could be faster. CPC version is a lazy Speccy port. Looks quite fast, but doesn't play like that. It was so bad, that there is a fan made remake of R-type on the CPC. But it's 128k only and won't run on my machine. PS1 version is Arcade perfect, I think. This is me Landing a Chopper in ARMA 2 using only my keyboard - no fancy joystick. People say that ARMA isn't for everyone because it's too complicated. They also say that flying is too difficult, but I cannot fly for shit in any of the Battlefield games. My flights always end up with me crashing killing everyone on the plane/helicopter. But I tried flying a chopper in ARMA 2, and in less than 1 day on multiplayer servers, I could fly and now I transport people between objectives and can do pretty good landings like this. If you are having trouble flying a chopper in ARMA 2, then don't touch the mouse. Use the default controls on the keybaord and do not touch the mouse, because I just use my keybaord for flying, not some fancy joystick. It seriously makes it so much easier. I know there are many videos of the little helicopter on Youtube but I've tried to make this one a bit different and show the movements of the joysticks. Note the trim correction of the 'yaw' using the controller's centre knob and the one click on the forward trim button that was required during the flight. Project FPS in Motion. With the simple desire to improve the immersion of first person shooters, I designed a prototype rifle that can control mouse movements and map keyboard keys that connects to a PC (and consoles with appropriate licensing) wirelessly to completely replace the standard and decades old keyboard/mouse/chair. My design can used in any position (standing, crouching, prone, sitting, etc), and at any distance while within the same wireless network. This is an extreme prototype and shows nothing more than it's most basic function, within it's current stage of developement. The prototype I want to build will have stable mouse movement (accuracy/double clicking/etc), finely tuned accelerometer for better controls, comfortable hand placement and lightweight design for hours of gameplay without fatigue (including playing sitting down), and natural button placement including additional buttons/joysticks/accelerometer functions. At this stage I need your support to create a one of a kind prototype that would include the aforementioned features, so that it can be made public after patented or privately exhibited with an NDA. Recently posted a video talking about the delay of the white iPhone 4 from Apple. Reports are coming in that the home button discoloration was just a minor issue. The real issue is the light leak. This light leak brings attracted light into the device, making the photos it takes with the camera a bit off. Deepak showed Eric a robot using their new magnetic compass sensor (now shipping). With logic to maintain an orientation to the north, the robot quickly compensated as Deepak turned the platter beneath it. He also showed an RCX-NXT communication adapter that hooks up to the NXT and is capable of controlling RCX motors and sensors with its IR link. Finally, Eric watched Nitin demonstrate remote control of a vehicle using a wireless PlayStation controller adapter. With the ability to program both analog joysticks and all 14 buttons, there are plenty of options available to builders to control their NXT creations remotely.

February 19, 2000 Pittsburgh, PA The Joysticks Battle the Scan Feed Relay to Your Skull (Gregg Gillis and Richard Saporito) performing at the Chartiers Valley High School Talent Show. This teenage noise duo were infamous in the Pittsburgh area for performances focused around smashing electronics and pyrotechnics. When they were allowed to perform at their senior year talent show, Pittsburgh music fans and Chartiers Valley students alike were expecting them to wreak havoc in their traditional style. They decided to go a different direction with the performance. It centered around two abrasive noise loops, strobing lights, and minimal motion on stage. They prepared one hour's worth of material but were cut off after approximately 9 minutes. It is not seen on the camera, but the majority of the audience was rushing to leave the auditorium by the 5 minutes mark. To stop the set, teachers from the school cut the electricity in the room. The PA system did not work after the performance.
