This app was recommended by a viewer and I must say, it is very enjoyable! Unlike other sandbox games for iOS, the developer has implemented minecarts into the game as well as the ability to create the track it rides on. I'm not quite sure if they can go uphill/downhill or not, but you'll just have to find out :-) You're allowed to choose from 6 different world types, which are: Terrain, Random, Flat, Sphere and Pyramid. All in which are very enjoyable (especially random)! The version we played was the 'Lite' version meaning not all features that you'd normally get in the full version are included, which in this case, is the ability to save. Blocks can be removed by digging them and new blocks can be placed nearby other blocks. New worlds can be generated. It is highly inspired by Minecraft.
