Joysticks

I recently built this Bubble Bobble themed bartop arcade cabinet. This is the same specification as the MEGACADE cabinet (see www.youtube.com but it has 2 sets of controls and each set has 6 buttons instead of 4. The cabinet is constructed entirely of 12mm MDF with 3mm clear acrylic for the marquee and bezel. This is a bartop sized arcade cabinet, overall size is 475mm wide x 540mm high x 450mm deep. For the internals, I have a motherboard and PSU from an original Xbox. For the control panel, I have adapted 2 Xbox controllers to provide an interface to the arcade buttons and joysticks. I really like the red Sanwa joysticks on this cabinet. The cabinet is fitted with 100W power amplifier, stereo speakers/tweeters, 12V strip light (for the backlit marquee), 17" LCD Monitor, AV to VGA converter box (to convert video output from Xbox to VGA). I designed the control panel and included a Bubble Bobble monster information sheet (at the top) and logos for Bubblin and Taito (at the bottom). The marquee is as per the original arcade but background is changed to black. The Xbox has been soft-modded to run Unleash-X and Coinops. I have created a custom Bubble Bobble skin with a Bubble Bobble soundtrack.
